Class 3's work from 2019 - 2020
Below is a selection of work from the school year 2019 - 2020.
Class 2 and 3 Pottery Work
Along with Class 2, Class 3 have been looking at the work of Clarice Cliff this term and have made our own coil pots from clay and decorated them in the style of Clarice Cliff. She used bold colours and shapes in her Bizarre designs and a number of pupils used this as a basis for their pot design. See a picture of our finished pots below.
Electricity, Light and Shadows
Class 3 have recently looked at how shadows are formed and how we see things. We had great fun making shadow puppets to show our understanding of how to make different sized shadows appear.
Our Victorian Day at Gressenhall
Class three travelled back in time to Victorian England to experience life in the workhouse. They were "treated" to a Victorian school lesson, complete with a strict teacher and learned about the jobs that poor children would have to do in Victorian times. Back in school we have used our experience to help us with our diary writing.
Class 3 learn to programme a "Crumble"
Class 3 visited BT at Adastral Park in Martlesham to learn how to programme a Crumble robot. We then raced them against the other schools and won! Well done team Charsfield!
